HOUSTON'S  TOP  PRO  PLAYERS

Tracy McMillin
Pro-Master
Tournament History
The best player in Texas. He was 3rd in open singles & Open Doubles at 2001 worlds. I don't think anyone would question Tracey in the top spot
2

John Smith (Texas Legend Alumni)
Pro-Master
Tournament History
Top Houston 5-bar passer.  Certainly a top Houston PRO.  Just won Y2001 TX State Open Singles. Won Open Singles again at $5000 Houston event in Feb 2002 when he beat Tracy McMillin.
3
Bill Bell
Pro-Master
Tournament History
Fantastic game. Solid seasoned veteran. He's back in Houston taking the DYP money.
4

Eddie Gartman (Texas Legend Alumni)
Pro-Master
Tournament History
Top PRO Goalie. Only player here represented in foosball.com players gallery. Recently won winners bracket at the 2002 Nationals in Atlanta. Can shut down all the players on this list but probably would not win in singles against them. But all the players here would want Eddie as their goalie.  2003 Worlds Doubles Champion!!
5

Scott King
Pro-Master
Tournament History
Certainly has the PRO mindset. Very smart player. Can compete with anybody on  tour. One of the top 5 Houston Pros for sure.
6

Robert Janac
PRO
One of the smartest players I've seen. Can dink you to death. Great passing and ball control. Highest placing pro at 2000 worlds open singles. Placed 13th at 2002 Worlds in Open Singles with Tracey McMillin. Top placing PRO at Worlds again!
7

Chad Hanson
PRO
Tournament History
Great far wall passer with brush. One of the most feared 5-bars in Houston.  Usually gets more shots on goal which results in victories. His 3/4 Pull shot is excellent mainly because he reads the defense with the best of them. Moved up to #5.
8

Shawn McMillin
PRO
Certainly a top PRO. Great skills and an excellent Pull. A very complete PRO player.
9
Troy Pierce
PRO
Has recently got back into the game and has already started taking all the DYP money. Can do it all. Ball control is why I'm ranking him 3rd. Back out of the game.
10

Ricky Garcia
PRO
Very good PRO. One of the latest local players to compete with the elite. Has very good ball control and speed.  5th in Open Singles @ Houston City.
11

John Gamble
PRO
Went from rookie to pro in one tournament. He's usually in the money regardless of the competition. Has all the tools to be one of the best.
12

Ronnie Lewis
PRO
Just received TX Legendary award. Very good PRO. Very good at reading the defense. Has lost some speed on his pull but can read the defense with the best of them.
13

George Garber
PRO
Mainly a goalie but has really come on at forward. Has performed well in may tournaments. He's on the list because he's a well respected player.
14

Cecil Sanchez
PRO
One of the best toe shots in the US. Similar to the #1 player in the world Frederico. He will stress a goalie out.

Has proven to be the best Rookie in Houston. Recently won Worlds Mixed Singles. Has fantastic top pro level passing and can shoot with the best.
2

Dean SANTISTEVAN

Great brush pass. Has the best push-kick shots in Houston. Very tough player to win against. Won 2002 Rookie doubles with a double-dip effort.
3

Pete Mora
Top Houston Rookie
Took Terry Moore to 5 games in forward shootout. Excellent passing and probably the best monkey shots in Houston - very comparable to Orgando. Won Rookie Doubles @ Corpus with Joe Reynosa.
4

Keith Mize
Top Houston Rookie
Excellent stick passer with one of the best rookie monkey shots around. Only way to beat him is to get in his head. Has been able to clean up on top talent when he's on. He doesn't play much goalie.
5

Daniel Bushaw
Top Houston Rookie
Top Houston Rookie and highly regarded by PROs and top rookies. Does not have the accolades as those shown above but certainly has the respect. Many players fear Daniels game.  Has move up the list because he's stronger in front and back versus the players below.
6

Oscar Nunez
Top Houston Rookie
Top Houston Rookie with a fantastic toeshot. Can hit both side long and with a split. Has a good angle pass on the near side. Always seems to be a the top regardless of who his partner is.
7

Zeke Puente
Top Houston Rookie
Excellent stick passer with the best all around game. He's the best scoring goalie on this list and probably the best of all rookies. Has a wide variety of excellent shot as a forward.
8

Steve Hultman
Top Houston Rookie
Excellent passer with fantastic touch on the 3 rod; catches everything. If he didn't have to keep his mind on running tournaments, he would bring home more money. Was highest placing rookie on Open Singles at Vegas.
9

Alan Wallace
Top Houston Rookie
Saw him take Pro Master Todd Loffredo 5 games in Open singles @ NATSA Tournament. Took 2nd at Y2001 Rookie Singles. Took 2nd at Y2001 TX State Rookie singles! Recently won Rookie Doubles at 2002 Houston City. I'm a bit disturbed at myself for not putting him higher on the list. It's that close. He can surely whip up on the players above.
10

Brian Pickett
Top Houston Rookie
Recently moved to Houston from College Station. He's the only play I've seen to double-dip Bill Bell in a DYP finals. Very good lane passer. Shoots a spray pull. He's moving up the list quick.  Only rookie I've seen to double dip Bill Bell.
11

James Weimar
Top Houston Rookie
Toe Shot, Pull and Monkey. Much improved 5-bar. Recently took 3rd in Semi-Pro Singles event. Placed 2nd out of 107 teams at NATSA High-Tech event.
12

Scott Blackburn

Very fast game that will give a goalie fits. He's mainly a singles player because his 3-bar is so strong. His defense puts him below the other top Rookies.
